What has Rocky been up to lately?

Rocky has been a great guest in our home the last couple weeks!!

Things haven't been normal around here, that's for sure! With the girls home full time and me trying to work from home, life suddenly has gotten all topsy turvy- I am sure it is the same for a lot of you in your home, but we are all doing what we need to do to stay safe.

I am VERY proud of all of you and want you to know that I think about you every day. I can't believe how hard you have all been working on Google Classroom.

I am hoping that soon we can have some small group gatherings through Google Zoom. We have tried some Google Hangouts, which has been fun to see your faces and hear your voices with BUT Zoom is a little bit better. I will have to send a link for us to join this type of session so I need you to practice opening up some assignments a little bit more and following links through that. Once everyone has done that at least once then we can try out Zoom.

If you have any questions about any of the assignments please email me at xena.biffert@learn.cssd.ab.ca
I will do my best to get back to you ASAP. Remember, school hours are 9am ish to 3pm ish. So, if you contact me outside of those times you might have to wait until the next day to get your answer.

Now....for some pics of Rocky....

Rocky reading Indigenous stories...stay tuned- he wants to share one with you all!!

Rocky playing Monopoly with the family on our weekend game night...he was the CHAMP!

Rocky ALWAYS reminding us to be Earth Guardians!! Here he shut off the tap for me, while I brushed my teeth.

Rocky learning with the girls all about snowflakes!

Rocky keeping up on his sketching....he has been practicing about 10 minutes each morning. He is getting better every day. We sure hope you are still sketching each day.

Today he helped the girls decorate the from window for Easter. He wrote some very nice Easter poetry. See below for one of his poems...

XOXOXO
