Stampede School has arrived! I am so excited to be participating in this program for the second year. I will share a little secret with you -this is why I left Kindergarten!!! (And for those of you who didn't know, prior to 2 years ago I taught Kindergarten for 8 years💜 and I do miss it).
But this is why...
The Open Minds program is a gr.1-12 opportunity that opens student's eyes beyond the 4 walls of the classroom. It pushes boundaries, it elicits problem solving skills and it exposes students to the community and their city! It helps students define who they are in this small city we live in on this magnificent planet. It forces students to think and ask questions, make connections and define solutions to local issues. Through expert knowledge, hands on experiences and unique learning opportunities students will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of learning.
